When you sell items like apparel with multiple sizes or colors, it’s common to end up with only a few unusual variations left, like a purple XXXL shirt. These hard‑to‑sell items don’t deserve ad spend on channels like Google Shopping or Facebook. With the Product Feed Pro plugin, you can automatically exclude low‑stock product variations from your feed. This not only saves marketing dollars but also keeps your listings clean and relevant.
Filtering Out Low-Variation Products
Follow these steps to exclude products that have only a small number of variations left in stock:
- Go to the Filters tab from your Edit Feed screen
- In the Exclude section, click Add New “AND” Filter button
- Select the Number of variations on stock from the attribute dropdown
- Choose a condition such as Less Than or Equal
- In the value field, type the threshold, for example, 2. This means any product with 2 or fewer variations in stock will be excluded
- Click Save Filters to confirm your settings
- Refresh your feed so the changes take effect
By following these steps, you’ll streamline your product feed by automatically removing low-stock variations. It keeps your marketing focused, saves you money, and prevents outdated or non‑sellable listings from clogging up your channels.
