The Feed Validator Tool, introduced by AdTribes, is designed to help store owners verify the quality of their product feeds before submitting them to external channels. Its main purpose is reducing feed rejections and validation errors, ensuring your products meet all requirements before submission.
Currently, the validator supports XML format feed files, the most commonly used feed format across major shopping channels.
Supported Channels
At this time, you can validate feeds for the following platforms:
- Google Shopping
- Google Product Review
We will add support for more channels in the future.
Accessing the Feed Validator
Note: The Feed Validator is a premium feature available with the Plus and Business plans
To access the tool, click the Login option from the menu, which will take you to your account. From there, click on the Feed Validator tab.
Validate a Feed
Click the “Add New Feed” button; this opens a pop-up form

Fill in the required information in the pop-up form

- Feed Name: Assign a name for internal tracking (recommended to match your feed for clarity).
- Feed Type: Choose the type of feed you want to validate.
- Feed URL: Enter the direct URL of your feed.
- Check Frequency: Select how often you want automatic validation — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Note: Validation supports only feeds from the domain where your license is active.
Understanding Validation Results
If the feed is correctly formatted and contains no issues, you’ll receive a Healthy status.

If problems are found, the status will be Needs Attention.

Click on the status to view detailed error messages.

Fix the reported issues in your feed and use the Recheck button to perform a new validation.
Feed Validator Alert Notification
To keep you informed, the tool sends feed health notifications by email. By default, notifications go to the email address linked to your plugin license.
You can update the notification email by visiting your Edit Account page.

You can also configure the Alert Interval to control how frequently you receive updates or disable notifications if preferred.

By using the Feed Validator proactively, you can avoid costly feed submission delays and improve product visibility faster.
