If you’ve already spent time writing keyword-optimised SEO titles and meta descriptions in Yoast SEO, your raw WooCommerce product title probably isn’t as good a fit for your feed. Product Feed Elite now lets you map those Yoast fields straight into your feed instead.
Two new attributes, Yoast SEO Title and Yoast SEO Description, are available in the Field Mapping dropdown as of Elite 5.1.0. That means you no longer have to choose between a generic product title and manually rebuilding your SEO copy inside a feed rule.
Prerequisites
- Product Feed Elite version 5.1.0 or later.
- Yoast SEO, the free plugin, active on your store.
Map the Yoast SEO attributes
Open the feed’s Field Mapping tab
- Go to Product Feed in your WordPress admin.
- Open the feed you want to edit.
- Click the Field Mapping tab.
Select the Yoast attributes
- Find the Added Custom Attributes group in the attribute dropdown for the row you want to map.
- Select Yoast SEO Title to map your product’s Yoast SEO title, or Yoast SEO Description to map its meta description.
- Repeat for any other channel field you want to fill from Yoast.

How it works
Each attribute pulls straight from the Yoast SEO fields you set on the product’s Edit snippet panel. If a product’s own Yoast title or description is empty, Product Feed Elite falls back to nothing rather than guessing. On product variations, the fallback is different: a variation without its own Yoast title or description inherits its parent product’s value instead, since most stores only set Yoast fields on the parent. If Yoast contains a replacement variable like %%title%% or %%sitename%%, Product Feed Elite expands it to the real value automatically. If a variable can’t be expanded for some reason, that attribute ships as an empty value rather than the raw %%...%% text.
Why map Yoast fields into your feed
- Better search performance: a Yoast SEO title is usually already keyword-optimised and trimmed to a search-friendly length, which often outperforms a raw product title in feed listings.
- Less duplicate work: you write SEO copy once in Yoast and reuse it in your feed, instead of rebuilding it with feed rules.
- Consistent messaging: your product page and your feed listing show the same title and description.
